Who We Are and Are Not

Who We Are

We, the people of Texas, recognize that no individual stands above another. Together, we are the Texas State. United in purpose, we are committed to the peaceful and lawful restoration and preservation of the Constitution of 1846 and the principles of constitutional self-governance.

About the Republic

The original Republic of Texas was established as a constitutional republic following independence from Mexico. It was founded on the principles of self-governance, individual liberty, and accountability to the people.

Over time, many Americans have come to believe that the structure of governance has shifted away from those founding principles. Increasing influence from corporate interests, political institutions, and unelected bureaucracies has led to a system that often feels disconnected from the people it is meant to serve.

Today, many communities face growing challenges—families under strain, small communities overlooked, and fundamental rights increasingly debated rather than protected.

The Texas State of 1846 is grounded in the belief that our founders established a system in which government exists to serve the people—not the other way around. Our mission is to peacefully and lawfully restore that vision.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to restore constitutional self-governance in Texas through lawful, peaceful, and honorable means.

We seek to:

       • Reestablish a system rooted in accountability to the people

       • Strengthen families, communities, and local unity

       • Protect the rights of parents to raise and educate their children

       • Promote true education, critical thinking, and individual liberty

       • Encourage civic responsibility and participation

This mission is not only about governance—it is about rebuilding the foundation of strong communities, mutual respect, and shared responsibility.

What the Texas State IS NOT

The Texas State is committed to clarity and integrity in its mission.

We are not:

1. Associated with anarchistic or lawless movements

2. Connected to unlawful militia groups or organizations

3. Affiliated with foreign nation-state movements

4. Engaged in financial schemes, fraudulent activity, or misuse of nonprofit structures

5. Supportive of violence or unlawful actions of any kind

6. Affiliated with political parties, corporate entities, or organizations that act outside constitutional principles

What the Texas State IS

1. A peaceful and lawful effort to restore constitutional governance in Texas

2. A people-driven movement rooted in common law principles and civic responsibility

3. An organized body committed to rebuilding lawful state structures through participation and accountability

4. A community-focused initiative dedicated to unity, prosperity, and individual rights

5. A long-standing effort, active since 2010, guided by foundational declarations and formal proclamations

Our Foundation

Our work is built upon a series of foundational actions and declarations, including:

         • The Declaration of Sovereign Intent (2010)

         • The Flag Act (2011)

         • The Proclamation of Claims and Interests (2012)

These documents represent our commitment to lawful process, transparency, and continuity of purpose.

Our Commitment

We are committed to restoring a system where:

        • Government serves the people

        • Rights are protected, not redefined

        • Communities are strengthened, not divided

        • Future generations inherit liberty, not uncertainty

We pursue this mission peacefully, lawfully, and with honor.

Join the Effort

The future of Texas depends on the people who are willing to stand for it.

If you believe in constitutional principles, community strength, and lawful self-governance, we invite you to stand with us.

Together, we can restore what was intended—and build a stronger future for generations to come.
