Daniel W. Weiermann Jr. is a seasoned leader, public servant, and retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Three with over 25 years of experience protecting communities, leading high-stakes operations, and delivering results in complex environments. His career spans military intelligence, counterterrorism, and domestic law enforcement—giving him a unique, real-world understanding of security, leadership, and public accountability.

During his military service, Mr. Weiermann served in senior intelligence roles supporting U.S. Special Operations and Central Command, where he led teams responsible for identifying threats, protecting lives, and advising senior leaders on critical decisions. He built and managed high-performing teams, improved operational efficiency, and played a direct role in disrupting dangerous networks—experience that translates into decisive, informed leadership at the state level.

After retiring from the Army, Mr. Weiermann continued his commitment to service as a law enforcement officer in Texas, working directly within communities to enhance public safety, reduce crime, and strengthen trust between citizens and local institutions. As a School Resource Officer, he developed safety programs, coordinated emergency response efforts, and worked closely with families, educators, and first responders to create safer environments for students and communities.

Mr. Weiermann’s leadership is defined by integrity, accountability, and results. He has consistently operated in high-pressure environments where decisions carry real consequences—bringing a steady, mission-focused approach to every role he has held. A recipient of the Bronze Star and numerous professional commendations, he is recognized for his ability to lead with discipline while empowering those around him.

As Acting Governor, Mr. Weiermann offers a proven record of service, a deep understanding of security and infrastructure challenges, and a commitment to strengthening communities through effective leadership, transparency, and practical solutions. His career reflects a lifelong dedication to protecting the public, supporting those who serve, and ensuring that government works efficiently and responsibly for the people.

Dr. Tammye Markle

Montgomery County

Tammye Markle is a native Texan born and raised in the northeast part of the state. She grew up on a cattle ranch where she learned the value of good old southern respect, agricultural roots, and hard work, as well as the patriotic values of God and country. She became a believer in Jesus Christ at age 12 and has spent her entire life in service to the Lord and her community.

Tammye and her husband, a retired teacher/coach and college professor, started a recreational services business in 1992, which they still own and operate today. She managed 5 distinct non-profit corporations, one of which she founded and still manages. She spent 18 years leading one of the largest volunteer organizations in Texas, where she mentored young women by teaching them leadership skills, goal setting, and personal growth strategies, as well as encouraging them to develop and actively pursue serving in their communities, fostering a heart for service that would lead them into successful lives and careers. In 2012, she obtained a master’s degree in ministry and counseling, later completing a doctorate in Biblical studies. She is also a minister, ordained by the seminary she attended.

Having spent most of her life working with horses, mentoring youth, and leading leadership experiences, and counseling, Tammye tapped into her entrepreneurial skills to create Trinity Reins Ministries, an equine-assisted learning and mentorship program that she founded and runs on her ranch. Thus far, she and the volunteers at Trinity Reins Ranch have facilitated over 250 equine-assisted mentoring sessions for foster children, survivors of trauma, human trafficking, and difficult life challenges, encouraging and assisting them in taking the steps to heal their hearts, souls, and minds and step into their God-ordained purpose.

In her spare time, Tammye spent countless hours over many years researching the varied topics within the volatile geopolitical landscape that seems to have affected the entire world, most especially our beautiful America. She was saddened by the injustice and decline in our great Republic and the complete disregard of our Founding Fathers’ dedication to truth and a strong moral and biblical foundation. In her research, she stumbled on the restored Constitutional Republic and became interested in taking part in the reseating of this original republic in order to facilitate a return to the values and principles our founding fathers fought to establish in the late 1700’s. Tammye felt that, as the Bible says in the book of Esther, we have all been called for a time such as this, to return our great America to the land our forefathers fought and sacrificed to establish. “Being a part of this pivotal time in American history feels right. I feel called to it, and I am ready to serve.”
